Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This policy explains what Dramaverse, operated by AI Impact ("we", "us"), collects about you, why we collect it, who we share it with and what choices you have. It covers the Dramaverse mobile application and the pages at aiimpact.app/dramaverse.
For data protection purposes AI Impact is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at support@aiimpact.com.
1. The short version
Dramaverse works without an account you have to create. There is no email address, no password, no phone number and no social login. We identify your account by a random identifier generated on your device. We collect what we need to play episodes, remember where you stopped, deliver coins and subscriptions you paid for, keep the service working and decide what to produce next. We do not sell personal data.
2. What we collect
Account identifier. A random identifier generated on your device the first time you open the App, plus the device identifier used to restore that account on the same device. It is not linked to your name, email address or phone number.
Profile information you choose to enter. Display name, username, short biography and avatar image. All of it is optional.
Usage and playback data. Which series and episodes you start, finish or abandon, where you paused, what you save to My List, what you like, which subtitles you turn on, paywall views and which unlock option you chose, downloads, and shares. We use this to resume playback, power My List, and understand which stories work.
Purchase data. Product identifiers, store transaction identifiers, purchase and renewal dates, subscription status, coin balance and the ledger of how coins were earned and spent. Apple and Google process the payment itself; we never receive your card number.
Advertising data. If you watch a rewarded video, the advertising network processes your device advertising identifier and technical device data under its own policy. We receive whether the reward was earned.
Device and technical data. App version, platform and operating system version, device model, language and country, network type, and IP address as part of ordinary server logs.
Push token. If you allow notifications, a device token used to send new-episode alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Crash and performance data. Diagnostic reports when the App crashes or misbehaves, including the state of the App at that moment.
Support correspondence. If you write to us, your message and the User ID you provide.
3. What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, contacts, photos or location. We do not use cookies for advertising on our website. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
4. Why we use it, and our legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following bases.
To provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract): creating and restoring your anonymous account, streaming episodes, remembering your position, My List, delivering coins and Pro, and answering support requests.
Our legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, preventing fraud and refund abuse, diagnosing crashes, measuring which content and features are used, and improving the App. We balance these against your rights and use the least identifying data that works.
Your consent: push notifications, and on iOS the App Tracking Transparency permission for personalised advertising. You can withdraw either at any time in your device settings.
Legal obligation: keeping records of transactions for tax and accounting, and responding to lawful requests.
5. Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers we need to run the service, and only for that purpose.
- Google Cloud (hosting, database and media storage; servers in Belgium, European Union)
- Firebase, part of Google (push notifications, crash reporting and basic analytics)
- Apple App Store and Google Play (processing purchases, verifying receipts, refunds and subscription status)
- AppLovin MAX and its advertising partners (rewarded video advertising)
- Google Gemini (generating and translating subtitle tracks from episode audio; no personal data is sent, only the episode audio we own)
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, where necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If our business is reorganised, merged or sold, data may transfer as part of that transaction; the acquirer remains bound by this policy or gives you notice of a new one.
6. Advertising and tracking choices
Rewarded advertising is optional. You can always spend coins or a Pro subscription instead, or simply not unlock the episode.
On iOS, the system asks for tracking permission before any personalised advertising identifier is used. If you decline, advertising still works but is less relevant. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the Google settings on your device. Dramaverse Pro removes advertising entirely.
7. How long we keep it
Account data, including your coin balance, unlocked episodes, watch history and profile, is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account it is removed from our live systems immediately and from backups within thirty days.
Purchase records required for accounting, tax and fraud prevention are kept for up to two years, or longer where local law demands it. Server logs are kept for up to ninety days. Crash reports are kept for up to ninety days. Aggregated statistics that can no longer identify an account may be kept indefinitely.
8. Where your data is
Our servers are in the European Union (Google Cloud, Belgium). Some of our providers are outside the EU, mainly in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, and on the provider's own safeguards.
9. Security
Traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit. Media files are stored privately and are served through short-lived signed links, not public URLs. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the competent authority where the law requires it after a breach that affects you.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy in a portable format, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.
Most of these you can exercise directly in the App: your profile is editable, notifications and tracking are device settings, and Profile then Delete account removes everything permanently. For anything else, write to support@aiimpact.com and include the User ID shown at the bottom of your Profile screen, because it is the only way we can find an anonymous account. We answer within thirty days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you may also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in Türkiye, see our KVKK notice for the rights given by Law No. 6698 and how to apply.
11. California residents
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined by California law. In the last twelve months we collected the categories described in section 2, for the purposes in section 4, and disclosed them to the providers in section 5. California residents may request access, deletion and correction, and may not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Use the contact details in section 10.
12. Children
Dramaverse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has used the App and provided data, write to us and we will delete the account. Parents and guardians can use Screen Time on iOS or Family Link and parental controls on Google Play to restrict downloads and in-app purchases.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always at aiimpact.app/dramaverse/privacy/ with the date it took effect. If a change is material we will give notice in the App before it applies.
